Dance performance: The Two Body

The performance explores the concept of resilience through movement and poses questions about how we can coexist without losing our identities, how we can be free when committed to others, and how we can share space and time in a meaningful way. 

For 20 years, the performers Inari Salmivaara and Guaracy Paulino Da Conceiçao have been life partners, Coming from opposite sides of the world, they met in Amsterdam in early 2000. A mutual attraction sparked a long-lasting dialogue between their different cultural and social backgrounds, shared interests, diverse causes, and identical birthdays. 

The performance combines modern dance and capoeira. Length: 30 min.
