What can we do for the climate?
For Our Common Climate project we use workshops, events and guided tours to focus on climate change in different parts of Asia, sustainable use of natural resources and energy, and on women’s rights. At the same time, we ask ourselves what we can do for our common climate here in Finland.
The Museum’s changing exhibitions looked at climate change from different perspectives. In the autumn of 2020, we showed photographs by Vargha Bahagir of people living by water in Nepal, India and Indonesia. We also arranged climate change themed escape-room games in different parts of Finland. The project was realised during 2019–2020 with development cooperation grants from the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, and reached in total more than 24,000 pupils and visitors to the museum.
